Dare to gape at me when you don’t even know what eyes are for

Prying out every wretched, pitiful flaw to criticize me

What say you, dearest friend?

“Everything will be okay when it comes to be the end.”

Let me seize you from your proverbial world of comfort

I will show you the real thing, the depths of this place

The creature that is soon to ignite your true embered heart

So all your foes with all your friends may see the truth behind the shroud

Exposed, you are- Escape awaits for you no more, dear friend

Let them laugh and praise this condemned world they call our home

Bow before the King of deceit who sits upon his twisted throne
This character is the person who denies his own flaws. He points out your imperfections to justify his own...yet you've been closest of friends for so long. It is that friend that you hate sharing with, knowing that all he is going to do is lecture you when all that you desired was someone to confide in. His world is set up so he can see it only through his own eyes. He shuts out the rest of the world..and that is why some may consider him ignorant. You try to make points and prove him wrong to show reality, but you just cannot get through to him. He is content in his world of familiarity- for that way nothing he does is wrong because he finds his own ways to justify why he does what he does. He shows the world how considerate and empathetic he is, that all he wished is for a "perfect world," and it drives you crazy that no one is close enough to see who he really is. That is the trick that the prince of this world loves to play with us, leading us to believe the wrongs we do are not wrong as long as nobody knows.
